Policies sold after the 4th August 2020 with a policy number staring TS/VR2 include cover for medical claims as a result of Covid-19 while you are travelling overseas as long as you are not travelling against the advice of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office or the World Health Organisation.
In all other respects our policies specifically exclude claims directly or indirectly related to a pandemic and/or epidemic, including but not limited to Coronavirus (COVID-19), including any related and/or similar condition(s) howsoever named or any mutation of these. Policies will also not provide cover for claims relating to the fear or threat of pandemic and/or epidemic, including but not limited to Coronavirus (COVID-19) including any related and/or similar condition(s) howsoever called or any mutation of these. In the event of a conflict between the general exclusion and any other term in your policy terms and conditions, the general exclusion takes precedence. For full limits of cover please refer to your policy schedule, terms and conditions.
Please note that if you travel against the advice of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) then your policy will be void and will not provide any cover.
